Welcome to my new 2021 website!
Well here it is the new website. It would have been here sooner if I had put my head down and just got on with it.
To be fair it’s something I had to think long and hard about as so much certainty has been taken away for those of us organising events of any size. The year 2020 was looking so promising at the beginning; I joined Kirsty James and Sue France and staged a brilliantly successful International Womens Day in March that year. It was to be the last face to face event until June 25th this year 2021.
From never holding an online meeting suddenly I had to learn new skills, take on more social media training and join other groups online all in the knowledge that I just didn’t know when this would end!
Online networking does work to a point however most connections were done after the face to face meetings over coffee and quiet talks which just don’t work online.
